The monologues on this site are free for your use. No royalty or permission is required.

Most of these monologues can be "creatively" cut to one-minute.  (Of course a one-minute monologue should really only be 53 seconds.)

We request only that, if you are asked, you acknowledge the author and play from which the monologue has been selected. Some monologues here are "free standing;" that is, written as stand alone selections for presentation in audition or monologue showcases.
